Monster Homemade Rice Krispies

Ingredients
6 cups Crispy Rice Cereal
1 Bag Marshmallows (jumbo size)
1 Bag Marshmallows (mini size)
1 Stick Unsalted Butter (4 tbsp)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Dash of Sea Salt
350g Whipped Fluffy Icing Your chose of food colourings
1 Package of Candy Eyes
Directions
- Brown unsalted butter in a large non-stick pot.
- While the butter is melting, broil a tray of marshmallows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
- Add the roasted marshmallows to the browned butter. Remove from heat. Stir until melted.
- Make sure you are not overcooking or the mixture will harden!
- Add vanilla extract.
- Fold in Crispy Rice Cereal (2 cups at a time).
- Fold in mini marshmallows if desired. 8. Add marshmallow crispy rice mixture to a greased/parchment lined baking tray.
- Use parchment paper to press into the pan.
- Sprinkle with sea salt. Let cool to room temperature until they firm up a bit.
- Slice and divide into 9 pieces.
How To Decorate
- Divide icing into 3 bowls.
- Add different food colourings to each bowl. Mix well.
- Dip rice crispy treats into coloured icing.
- Place on a plate and decorate your heart out! Enjoy and Have Fun!
