Ingredients
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
3/4 cup wheat germ
1 cup chopped peanuts
Directions
- Melt 1 cup chocolate chips, with 1/2 cup corn syrup plus 2 tablespoons over low heat. Stir all the time.
- Remove from the heat and add 1/2 cup peanut butter, crunchy is fine.
- Mix in: 3/4 cup wheat germ, 1/2 cup sunflower seeds, and 1 cup chopped peanuts. Mix together very well, then form into a log.
- Roll in waxpaper, refrigerate and slice thinly.
- You will keep making this because it is easy and delicious. The children can also make it. You don't need to use salted peanuts.
